* When the sun set while it was still day

In the Bible, there was a mother who had seven children. Scripture says, "Her sun set while it was still day" (Jeremiah 15:9).

She was in a situation bleak enough that she felt like it was total night in the middle of day.

Have you ever felt this way? Has it ever been daylight, but you felt it was as dark as night? Maybe because of difficult situations, a heartbreak or a loss?

You may feel like you're in a hopeless situation right now. If you are, or even if you're not! – I encourage you to make studying God's Word a priority.

Scripture says that people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). When we don't know who God says He is and what He can do, which is found by studying the scriptures, sometimes our deliverance can be hindered because we do not know what God can do, and therefore, we're not claiming His promises. We do not know what to hope for, what to claim or what to ask.

But when we take time to study God's Word, God is able to pour out power and strength into our lives. God's Word brings revelation of His character and His rescuing, sustaining power. His Word brings knowledge and sheds light unto the great plan that He has for our lives.

God's Word can bring encouragement to you and bring you joy during your difficult seasons.

Jeremiah 15:16 says, "When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight."

Just like we naturally crave food and water every day, and it's a natural habit to satisfy the hunger and thirst, that is how we should make God's Word in our lives. We don't think twice about waking up and eating in the morning. Our body craves the nutrients. If we don't eat, we'll get weak.

Just like food nourishes us and gives us strength and stamina for the day, God's Word strengthens us; and when we study and confess it over our lives, it brings hope, healing, joy and powerful change.

It's important to hide God's Word in your heart even when you feel like you don't need it because one day, when it feels as if the sun set while it was still day, you'll find strength and encouragement.

Everything you need is found in God's Word. Hope, healing, direction, relational issues, parenting advice, work advice, whatever you're seeking, you'll find it in God's Word.

Even if you just start to meditate on His word three minutes a day, God will bless it.

Remember!!!, whatever yo're seeking, you will find it in God's Word.
